In 2009, I exchanged a stressful career in tech to a more nuturing approach to life teaching yoga. I'm a vinyasa yogi with an emphasis on mobility, range of motion and building strength from within. I also instruct Yin Yoga, Meditation, Sound Healing and yoga on the water. In 2017, I launched Dragonfly Paddle Yoga in Colorado Springs, specializing in paddleboard yoga. I also lead continuing education workshops, teacher training programs, and destination retreats for women.
I am passionate about sharing the practices and lifestyle of yoga. On the mat, I teach a blend of asana, mudra, pranayama, mantra and guided meditation. I draw inspiration for my teachings from my life experiences to help empower students to come home into their heart and connect with the pranashakti that pulses through our being. I am known for cultivating genuine connections with my students, having fun, and being relatable, on and off the mat. My classes are often described as playful with freedom to explore, while being challenged in a supportive way.
