As part of the Yoga Alliance Social Credentialing system, teachers that register with Yoga Alliance must submit a review of the RYS training program they completed.
Feedback from trainees provides Registered Yoga Schools with the opportunity to understand their trainees’ experiences in order to continually improve their trainings.
By choosing to display comments, schools enable trainees to provide insight into a school’s culture and training which helps potential trainees choose the right teacher training for their individual path with yoga.

General Comments
If studying solely under Julia McCabe I cannot recommend her enough. She has a wealth of knowledge in the teachings and history of yoga and can certainly help you achieve your goals towards your practice. I admire Julia's ability to make time for her students, connect and always be willing to lend an ear. You can expect to have a strong practice, with integration of Yoga History, Anatomy, Pranayama, Chakra integration and more. She truly is devoted to her practice and her teaching.

I finished my 200 HRYTT with Julia about 6 months ago now. I was a student of Julia's prior to the training so I felt confident that she would be providing a high quality training program. She more than exceeded any expectation going into the course. We covered so much information from history, anatomy/physiology, breathwork, asana/posture clinics and most importantly we actually got to teach! ALOT! Which I cant stress to anyone who might be reading this looking for a training. I recently completed another weekend training (not with Julia) and it has made me so much more grateful to have Julia as my teacher after listening to other friends experiences/knowledge of the practice I had met there. I really don't mean that as an insult in anyway but just saying that I feel Julia goes above and beyond and it really boosted my confidence... So one more tire pump here...If your lookin for a good dive into the practice Julia's your gal. SO much knowledge, strong practice, great teacher in all ways. FUN.

Julia has a wealth of knowledge and experience that she artfully articulated and communicated. I was excited to train under Julia but I quickly realized how much of the process was involution and self realization. I believe Julia allowed space and support for each of us to step out of comfort zone and to be ourselves through the process. I believe everyone and anyone could benefit from the 200hr training and it was a fabulous experience the process with Julia McCabe at North Yoga
