I initially explored yoga as a way to complement my strength and cardio workouts. The physical transformation came quickly, but the emotional and mental effects deepened my practice and gave my movement greater meaning. While my consistent personal practice provides physical benefits which augment my workouts, the mind, body, breath connection provides the greatest benefit. My intention as an instructor is to provide an accessible class to all experience levels. I provide a space for people looking to build strength and enhance their mobility as well as every day athletes who are looking to complement their intense workouts with gentler movement. I aspire to provide space for people to feel good in their bodies, nourish their souls, and quiet their minds. During my classes, I aim to reconnect people to their bodies and minds through a balance of strengthening and compassionate movement.
I completed my 200hr YTT at YogaSource Los Gatos under Linda McGrath, Nikki Smithson, and Ann Weismann. I have a certification in Yin Yoga from Nikki Smithson. I completed my 300hr YTT with Laura Burkhart Yoga in June 2023.
