Denise Lapides is an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT) with Yoga Alliance since 2003, which acknowledges the completion of  yoga teacher trainings with  approved and active Registered Yoga Schools (RYS).  She has received both a 500 HR RYT certification in Hatha as well as Kundalini Yoga.  A graduate of Mt. Madonna College of Ayurveda, Denise is a Certified Ayurvedic Practitioner and registered member of  NAMA.  Since 2007 Denise has lead retreats internationally from Guatemala, Mexico, Machu Picchu, and Costa Rica and continues to expand her reach leading teacher trainings beginning in 2008 with her school,  Divine Light Yoga 200 HR Foundational Program and the Divine Light 300 HR Advanced Program.  

She continues her education and practice with immersions with the White Lotus Foundation in California and immersions in India and South America as well as continuing education in Ayurveda with Dr. Lad in Albuquerque, NM and the Soul of Yoga in San Diego, CA. 

Denise completed one year of her Master's In Ayurveda with Mt. Madonna College of Ayurveda and completed 1000 hours to certify with IAYT with the Soul of Yoga in San Diego, CA. in January 2020.
