Lisa Moore is a 500-hour Registered Yoga Teacher and Ayurveda Wellness Practitioner. She began practicing yoga 23 years ago to correct a back injury and has since made it a life practice. Areas of interest in her teaching include stress management, the nutritional and lifestyle modifications of Ayurveda, the magic of the shamanic journey, the principles of the chakra energy system and bioenergetics as a way to release chronic muscular tension.
Also a freelance writer, Lisa has written for The Charlotte Observer and was the editor of Natural Awakenings Magazine Charlotte for 12 years. She has written hundreds of articles on numerous aspects of holistic health, environmental wellness, green living, social justice and spirituality.
