About Cindy Chiariello

Cindy Chiariello is a Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider.

Cindy‘s passion is to create safe spaces where people can thrive. Motivated by the demands of her work and family life to go deeper in own yoga practice, Cindy did her first 200-hour yoga teacher training in Vinyasa Yoga (Kelly Santucci). An enthusiastic learner, Cindy expanded her knowledge and skills by completing training in Restorative Yoga (Rachel May); Trauma-Sensitive Yoga, Special Needs/ Adaptive, and working with children and teens (Childlight Yoga). She is a 95 hour RCYT (Registered Children's Yoga Teacher) and a Licensed Instructor Trainer for Holy Yoga Collective.

During the pandemic, Cindy completed a Master of Science in Yoga Therapy (July 2022) program at Maryland University of Integrative Health, and is certified as a yoga therapist by the International Association of Yoga Therapists. Cindy teaches both private clients and group classes. As an Instructor Trainer, Cindy is grateful for the privilege to walk alongside new instructors as they learn to lead others.  She brings the same enthusiasm to mentoring yoga teachers and providing continuing education in trauma informed teaching, refining teaching techniques, safe assists and adjustments, and yoga philosophy, lifestyle and ethics.

She holds her Masters in Social Work from Rutgers University; is a Licensed Social Worker by the state of NJ, mother to three adult children, and primary caregiver to her adult daughter who has autism.
