Jeannine offers classes that support the needs of special populations: children, teens, individuals who have experienced trauma, both mentally and physically, first responders, veterans, have different abilities, developmental and/or mobility disorders (emotional, social, cognitive, and/or physical challenges), and those over 55 years of age. She has advanced training in: Meditation & Mindfulness, Trauma-Informed Yoga, Yoga for Autism and Special Needs, Yoga for Anxiety and Self-Regulation, Yoga for Traumatic Brain Injuries, and Emotional Freedom Technique. Jeannine is also Reiki practicioner, CPR/ AED/First Aid/Mental Health First Aid, and Concussion Wise/Heads Up Certified. She is a member of Yoga Alliance, the International Association of Yoga Therapists, the Yoga and Body Image Coalition, Yoga Service Council, and is an Accessible Yoga Ambassador.
Prior to opening Peaceful Chaos Yoga, Jeannine guided yoga practices at gyms, assisted living centers, schools, senior centers, recreation departments, nonprofits, and at yoga studios in central Connecticut. Before becoming a yoga instructor, she spent over 20 years working primarily in violence prevention and intervention programming.
