Jasmin Cromwell is a Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider (YACEP), which recognizes this person as an expert in one or more of Yoga Alliance's Educational Catagories.
Jasmin Cromwell has been teaching yoga since 2010 and received her E-RYT 200 certification from Bodhi Seed Yoga & Wellness Studio. A long time meditation and yoga practitioner has led Jasmin to the path of teaching. After teaching at BSY for a few years, Jasmin took over ownership in August of 2015. In the fall of 2020, Jasmin stepped back from owning the studio and is a teacher there and at many other venues in the area.
Jasmin teaches meditation and yoga to many different age groups, and feels yoga is for every-Body. Jasmin says, “I love the marriage of yoga and meditation and feel they support and balance one another so naturally”. She feels the two practices can help us all to bring more peace and love to the universe. She says, “I think keeping our body, mind, and spirit healthy and connected is a great way to live a long and meaningful life”.
Along with the Macomb County Board of Commissioners (BOC), Jasmin created execute a public event each year called Yoga at the Hill which is held at Freedom Hill, an outdoor venue, each June. This free event attracts hundreds of people and offers an array of classes (Kids Yoga, Chair Yoga, Basic Yoga, Mixed Level Yoga) to bring awareness that yoga is for every BODY. The event is geared for anyone, whether they have practiced yoga or have never taken a class. Her staff and the staff at the BOC all volunteer their time to help bring awareness to the public all the wonderful benefits of yoga.
Jasmin volunteers her time to many venues who offer events that she can participate in to help bring awareness of the benefits of yoga, and especially in the older population. She says "Often times seniors are intimidated by the visuals in magazines and on TV of people practicing yoga". She goes on to say, "I try to convey to them in my free classes at local events that yoga is breathing, yoga is movement and yoga does not have to be practiced with fancy yoga outfits or in crazy twisted poses".
Currently, Jasmin is offering Chair Yoga Training for teachers with a minimum of RYT-200 credentials. If you are a Certified Yoga Teacher you may also participate but the 6 credits are not recognized by YA.
This 6 Credit, Continuing Credit Course is offered at her Yoga Studio, Bodhi Seed Yoga & Wellness Studio, which is a Registered Yoga School (RYS) through Yoga Alliance, located in Mt. Clemens, Michigan.
