Crystal Myers is an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT 500) with Yoga Alliance and has been teaching yoga for 25 years in the Dayton area. Crystal began her career in fitness as an ACE certified group exercise instructor in 1992 but found her true passion when she began teaching yoga. Crystal has instructed a variety of specialized classes through the years reaching students of all ages in her classes that included Preschool Yoga to a chair-assisted yoga class for seniors. Crystal's has taught Beginning Yoga, Vinyasa Yoga, Hatha Yoga, Partner Yoga, Yogates, Yin Yoga, Boga Yoga, Restorative Yoga, and Chakra Yoga and has hosted several workshops on specialized subjects such as Chakras and Yoga and Yoga for Hormonal Balance. She also taught Yoga as a PE class for Sinclair Community College. Crystal currently teaches at the Kleptz Y in Englewood, OH where she teaches Yoga, Yogates and SilverSneakers Yogastretch. She has instructed specialty programs at the Y, such as Move2Lose Gold and Move to Live. Crystal has also been a LiveStrong instructor at the Y, which is a program created to help cancer survivors regain mental and physical well being. She also teaches yoga at the Earl Heck Community Center in Englewood, OH. Crystal has been inspired from such Yogi greats as Judith Hanson Lasater, Erich Schiffmann, Sadie Nardini, and Lilias Folan as well as many local teachers including Kim Zehnder and Laurel Heffner and is grateful to all of her teachers through the years for igniting the passion of yoga in her heart.
