Colleen has been leading various styles and levels of asana classes, including pranayama, meditation and Yoga Nidra since 1994. She holds the highest Yoga Alliance registration—500 hour Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT500) and has over 2,000 yoga teaching hours. Colleen also develops and delivers yoga and mat Pilates workshops and provides Yoga Alliance approved teacher training and continuing education.

Her instruction is hands-on; demonstrating when needed and assisting with alignment, modifications, and helping students be at ease in the moment. Influenced by many modalities of yoga, Colleen encourages and supports her students to expand, release, enjoy and explore beyond their mental, emotional, spiritual and physical boundaries through her eclectic style.

Colleen completed 500 hours yoga teacher training with Parvathi Nanda Nath Saraswati of Saraswati River Yoga. In addition, Colleen has completed Erich Schiffmann Yoga Teacher Training Levels 1 & 2 and iRest® Yoga Nidra Level 1 Teacher Training with Richard Miller. Colleen has also studied under Yoga Masters Baron Baptiste, Beryl Bender-Birch, Sean Corn, Ana Forrest, Gary Kraftsow and Duncan Wong.

Colleen also teaches mat Pilates. "I love that Pilates is designed to help you achieve your most optimum alignment. And it's a wonderful cross training for yoga and other exercise." She is Mat Level 1 certified through the Pilates Institute of America. “It’s important to be strong, flexible and balanced, and yoga and Pilates not only do that, but also help develop a greater awareness of your body and a sensitivity to how it works, moves and changes. And both yoga and Pilates are practices you can take with you through your whole life.”
