Lindsay Steinriede is a 500hr E-RYT with 13 years of experience teaching as a lead yoga instructor and two decades of practice. She co-created the Yoga Teacher Training programs at Mira Costa College (2011) and Saddleback College (2014) where she continues to teach as a lead instructor.
Steinriede's teachings emphasize appropriate anatomical alignment, connection with the breathe, and advanced relaxation techniques. She believes in the use of yoga to create balance in one’s life and a progressive approach to develop a sustainable practice. Lindsay’s philosophy encourages acceptance, personal growth, and a holistic approach to one’s health and wellness.
Steinriede holds a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and a master’s degree in Physical Education. Prior to obtaining a position as a community college instructor for kinesiology, health, and wellness, Lindsay was a physical therapist aide and personal trainer. She now has over 10 years of experience as a full-time Kinesiology professor at Saddleback College where she has developed and continues to teach courses such as:
