Heather Sage is certified in Integrative Hatha Yoga by the Samyoga Institute, and teaches embodied movement, breath, contemplation/meditation and awareness from this perspective, as well as incorporating Vinyasa, Yin, and Restorative into her classes. Practices are always well rounded, challenging students to find their edge while respecting their bodies and most classes are heart-centered, philosophy based and introspective in nature.
Heather found yoga in 1998, became certified to teach in 2007 and is now accredited by the National Yoga Alliance as an RYT 500, after completing her 300 hour YTT through Living Soul Institute. Humbled and grateful for her journey thus far, she is forever a student. Since her original 200 hour YTT she also completed certifications in Yin, Prenatal, Pranayama, Yoga Anatomy, Holy Yoga, EmbodiYoga and others. Heather taught as an Adjunct Faculty Member on three different Ohio University regional campuses for over a decade and now teaches privately. Connect with her at heathersagechurch.com.
