VEENA GROVER, RYT, Certified Instructor of Tae Kwon Do, Ananda Yoga and Meditation
Veena has been teaching at LNRC since 2003. Her teachings are authentic, spiritual and holistic. Her motto of teaching is “learn to connect internally through deep nose breathing and gentle moves”. She integrates moves with the breath to add harmony in the mind, body and soul. All age groups and genders are joyfully welcome in her class! She believes that there is no competition when it comes to working with yoga as it is a personal inner exploration. Love is everything. She earned Professor of Yoga Diploma from Grand Master Soke Dr.Jagdish singh Khatri July 2015 & humbly proud of her achievements
Veena was a teacher of Psychology in India for high school students. As she moved to the US in 1966 she became a full-time mother and homemaker while also taking an Occupational Therapy (OTA) Program in Buffalo, NY. She has worked with Mental Health patients with the state hospital. She moved to California and joined the ATA Black Belt Academy at the age of 46 and graduated with a 2nd degree black belt and became a certified instructor of Tae Kwon Do. Veena earned her distinguished award in 2001 from the ATA Black Belt Academy. Though, due to injuries, she joined and graduated from Ananda Yoga to bring balance, harmony, alignment and peace for herself and her students. Veena continued her integration of Tae Kwon Do and Yoga and was inducted in the most prestigious Hall of Fame Black Belt Club in May 2017.
Veena has lived in Southern Orange County for the last 40 years and she is very active with swimming, spinning, yoga, meditation and taekwondo. She has three professional and successful children settled in the area and blessed with seven grandchildren she loves to spend time with family
