Una Setia is an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT) with Yoga Alliance, which acknowledges the completion of a yoga teacher training with an approved and active Registered Yoga School (RYS).
I began practicing yoga in college and fell in love. In 2000, I decided I wanted to share my love of yoga with others. I began teaching at Southwest Community Education and taught there for sixteen years, adding studios such as the Yoga Center of Minneapolis and Zenon over the years. I particularly liked teaching at community education because it provides a gateway into yoga to people who may not normally be exposed to yoga or may not feel comfortable taking classes at a yoga studio. I enjoy the opportunity of teaching at a variety of places to reach different populations. I also taught at The Emily Program for 6 years as a yoga therapist to clients in recovery and have been teaching corporate yoga for ten years. I encourage those who practice with me to find their own embodiment and empowerment through movement.
