Emilie Ananya Ananda brings over a decade of experience in practising, learning, and teaching Yoga. She holds certification as a Hatha yoga instructor from the SivaOm School of Yoga and Paramanand Institute of Yoga Science.
She is a certified Pranayama/breathwork therapist and has specialised in yoga therapy through the Paramanand Institute of Yoga Science in India with more than 800h of training in therapeutic applications of yoga.
She is the founder of Holon Yoga, a yoga shala on the island of Crete, where she teaches yoga year-round and organizes yoga therapy workshops and yoga teacher training programs in collaboration with Paramanand.
She always sought authentic teachings embracing the profound wisdom received from Indian masters. This commitment to authentic instruction enhances her ability to share the transformative benefits of yoga with her students.
In addition to her yoga credentials, Emilie is an anthropologist, public health specialist, and holistic nutritionist. Before transitioning to yoga therapy, she dedicated 14 years to humanitarian aid, coordinating health programs primarily in Africa, Asia, and Central America.
Today, Emilie is dedicated to helping her students achieve harmony between body, mind, and breath using a diverse range of techniques.
