Bio: Corrine Ishio is a San Diego-based yoga teacher, workplace healer, and founder of My Working Soul: a human development company with a specialty in hiring and developing talent for the evolving nature of modern work.
Trained in Vinyasa yoga with additional certifications in trauma-informed and anxiety-sensitive practices, Corrine offers classes that are grounding, intentional, and designed for the overstimulated nervous systems of our time, especially in an era shaped by technology and the AI revolution. She believes yoga is a method of remembering humanness in increasingly digital, disembodied environments.
Corrine’s teaching style is shaped by her multicultural heritage (Japanese, German, and Filipino) drawing from ancient medicine, breathwork, and somatic awareness to guide students toward presence and self-trust. Inspired by the pioneering Indra Devi, she weaves communication, storytelling, and movement into a therapeutic, accessible flow, adapted for modern American practitioners navigating stress, ambition, and identity in a world of rapid change.
Through her work at My Working Soul, Corrine has seen how workplace disconnection - whether from purpose, people, or body - shows up as anxiety, lack of engagement, and imbalance. Her classes and content invite professionals, founders, and creatives to reclaim freedom, clarity, and inner rhythm.
Corrine believes yoga offers essential tools for leadership. It teaches how to pause, how to listen, and how to move with intention. These skills translate into life, work, code, and culture.
Corrine offers yoga both virtually and in person, specializing in corporate retreats, workplace workshops, and tailored sessions for seniors and the military community.
