I just received my yoga certification in March 2025 after doing yoga for about 8 years. I was 58 when I began, and it has made a big difference in my overall strength and balance that I am anxious to show older folks the difference it can make for them. It is not about standing on hands or doing splits as neither I can do as well have no desire to do.😊 However, I the more I went to yoga class the better I got at so many postures that I thought I would never be able to do. I love a challenge and why yoga is such a wonderful exercise. I love God and for me, the best place to be is outside in his incredible nature He provided for us. I love His creatures too! I also love laughter and yes meditation and breathing are important in yoga, but it still can be fun. Rather it is a class or one on one, I enjoy the growth for all of us. One is never too old to try yoga and then see what you have been missing!
