Hi Yogis, my name is River and I am a nature loving adventurer, psychology student, proud cat mom, and passionate yogi. Having my RYT 200, Energy Healing Practitioner certification, and Yin yoga certifications, I find joy in movement, mindfulness, and deepening the connection between the mind, body, and spirit. With a background in psychology and neuroscience, I’m fascinated by how yoga supports mental well-being, personal growth, and holistic healing. My journey is all about balance and growth. Always honoring both science and spirituality, challenge and ease, movement and stillness.
My yoga journey began in the the heart of Costa Rica, where I hiked over 30 miles through mountains and jungles, faced the rapids of an 8 mile white water rafting trip, and discovered the transformative power of the mind, breath, and movement.
This experience broke me down, just to build me back up stronger. Showing me the true strengths within me. From that moment on, yoga became more than a practice, it became a way of life. Now, I am here to share that journey, guide others toward changing their mindsets, becoming present, finding peace, and overall hoping they discover the strength that was within them this whole time.
