I believe that yoga “found” me when I needed it most. And over the decades since then yoga continues to provide me with what I need on (and off) the mat every time – whether that is stress relief; to work my body (on flexibility, strength, balance or some combination of these); or offering an overall sense of peace & well-being. Most of all, though, yoga makes life FUN! 

After more than 20 years of practice . . . with nearly a dozen teachers . . . practicing a wide variety of yoga styles (Hatha, Iyengar, Vinyasa, Hot, Ashtanga, Yin, Restorative, Nidra, etc.) . . . at studios all across Annapolis . . . I completed my 200-hour certificate with Kelly Fisher & Lucy Lomax at the Yoga Center of Columbia in Columbia, Maryland in 2024. 

I teach alignment-based Hatha Yoga. Besides the asanas (poses) themselves, don’t be surprised to get sprinkled bits of pranayama (breathing exercises), guided meditation, and yoga philosophy thrown into the mix of my classes. My favorite thing is when a student approaches me after a class and tells me that something about the way I cued a pose helped him or her get into that pose more deeply or effectively than they ever had before. 😉
