Marianna Thymiaki is the owner and teacher at the "Modern Yogi-Ashtanga Yoga studio” in Nafplio, co-owner and columnist at the online magazine modernyogi.gr, she also organizes workshops, seminars and Yoga Retreats all over Greece. She is a certified 200h teacher by Yoga Alliance & certified in Ashtanga Yoga by David Swenson and has also attended training seminars in Greece and abroad with leading teachers such as: David Swenson, Richard Freeman, Tim Miller, Nancy Gilgoff, Jean Claude Garnier, Gregor Maehle, Monica Gauci, Paul Grilley and many others.
In September 2021 she moved to Nafplio with her family following her need for a more peaceful life close to nature. He collaborated for two years with the "Fougaro Art Center" teaching yoga to adults and children.
She has been actively involved in Ashtanga yoga since 2010, has taught Ashtanga Yoga in many schools in Athens, has been a co-organizer at the "Revival festival" in Ekali, as well as a columnist for the online magazine for motherhood 4moms.gr
Marianna draws inspiration for her teaching from her daily practice which she keeps as a tool for her personal & spiritual development.
She is a mother of two girls and a dog and in her free time she is involved in climbing, mountain climbing & participates in voluntary activities.
