With Practice Comes Change. I deeply believe that yoga practice is vital to health and higher functioning through all stages of life. I have seen its benefits shine over and over. I love teaching classes at my local studio; and I am passionate about helping people one-on-one in private sessions. I strive to bring the jewels of my own personal practice and experiences to support all people through a yoga practice that meets them exactly where they are and aids in their physical, mental, emotional and spiritual journey.
Yoga has been my constant companion through many years, two graduate degrees, college teaching, and raising three children. I credit prenatal yoga for healthy pregnancies, children’s yoga for healthy children, and daily yoga for healthy aging. I have had an evolving yoga practice for over 30 years that has included joyful study of many types of yoga, meditation, Buddhism, contemplative arts, and Reiki. I have a passion for the natural world, art, spiritual study, and bringing this study into everyday life and practices that help balance the challenging aspects of our culture. I completed my Yoga Teacher Training (RYT 200) through Seek Yoga. I value a supportive and inclusive yoga class atmosphere that is a conversation, not a performance.
