“Plant seeds today, bloom tomorrow.”
Many moons ago, Raymond Camacho began his yogic journey at Hunter College, where he studied Mysore Style - Ashtanga Yoga under the instructor, Lori Brungard.
Having learned the importance and power of the Ujjayi Breath, while also connecting movement with the breath, Raymond’s practice focuses on deepening the Mind-Body connection. Raymond believes that though Asana, the body can be purified, the Chakras can be opened, and our Karmic debts can be forgiven. However, Yoga is not just about the Asana, and Raymond also believes in the importance of Dharma, and yogic Spirituality.
Raymond recently completed his 200HR Vinyasa Teachers Training in the Fall of 2023 at Sol Spirit Yoga & Wellness, under the instructors Sarah Marsh, Elizabeth Barerra, Dianna Barrion, and Michael Simpson.
With hopes of diving deeper into himself, Raymond is on a path to learn more about the sweet balance of Yin & Yang, the inner strength and oneness of Tantra, and the discipline and purpose of daily practice.
Raymond Camacho is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance, which acknowledges the completion of a yoga teacher training with a Registered Yoga School (RYS).
