Sandra Mitchell is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance which acknowledges the completion of yoga teacher training with a Registered Yoga School (RYS).
Sandra began her yoga journey over 20 years ago and is a member of the Yoga Alliance. She earned her 200-Hour Registered Yoga Teacher Designation in 2019 at Yoga Landing in Chattanooga and received her 500-Hour RYT Designation in 2022. In April of 2023, she attended a yoga retreat in Costa Rico lead by internationally recognized yoga instructor, Simon Park; and Jessica Jollie, Owner and Director of Teacher Training Programs - Yoga Landing.
Sandra is passionate about showcasing the benefits of yoga including flexibility, balance, strength and mental well-being.
She specializes in teaching Yoga Basics and enjoys introducing yoga in a welcoming environment. Her classes are structured using props and techniques ensuring all students benefit regardless of their physical condition.
