Personal Teaching Style: My goal in every class I teach is to have the student feel comfortable, welcomed, and empowered enough to explore and honor what they need from class. Rather than making the class based around a workout or focusing on what the pose is "supposed" to look like, I instead focus on how the pose feels within the body. I also focus on the mindfulness practice of breath and presence during class. I believe each class is an opportunity for the student to release and let in what they need...making it more than just an hour to simply move the body.
