Hi, I’m Riddhi, a RYT 500 hours certified yoga teacher, a meditation guide, a reiki healer, a massage therapist and a nutrition coach — a chaperone for anyone on the journey of seeking a well-balanced, healthy lifestyle.
I began this journey as a young girl with my chaperone, my 99-year-old grandfather who cultivated in me, a holistic approach to maintaining a healthy mind and body. Meditation, yoga and following an ayurvedic way of eating had been a part of my daily regimen. It wasn’t until I moved to the U.S. in my teenage years that I recognized that what was a norm for me was in fact a valuable, sought after, art and science in the western world.
Over the years, I have acquired experience and qualifications in nutrition, reiki healing, breathing and meditation techniques and massage therapy, including neuromuscular therapy, trigger point therapy, pregnancy massage and vacuum cupping therapy. And even though I’ve been practicing yoga from the age of 7, I am thrilled to finally add the 500 hours certified yoga instructor to my credentials so I can fulfill my passion of teaching yoga formally, but more importantly with authenticity and purpose.
By combining my skills & experience in yoga & massage therapy, my focus lies in restorative yoga, posture alignment and chair yoga for seniors, to avoid or manage injuries and mobility issues, and to improve balance, stability. With our hectic and fast paced lifestyles - whether it be a young professional, a busy mother, or a silver-age retiree - I believe it is utmost important for all of us to learn to slow down, to tune into ourselves, to honor our mind, our body, and give the tender loving care it deserves. In a world that spins fast with external attachments and stimulation, my purpose is to get my students to slow down, to breathe and to be present.
I believe that a balance in physical, mental and spiritual health is vital for any individual who wants to live their life fully.
With gratitude,
Riddhi.
