Mariel Freeman is a recognized leader in the Philadelphia yoga scene.  An experienced teacher, teacher trainer and entrepreneur, Mariel is best known for the way she integrates the science and philosophy of yoga with the real day-to-day sensibility of a householder. She has been participating in yoga teacher training for 17 consecutive years.  She has been leading 200-hour yoga teacher trainings since 2012 and advanced 300-hour yoga teacher trainings since 2017

Mariel founded Three Queens Yoga in an effort to establish and celebrate community. She has partnered with Be Well Philly, The Kimpton Hotels, Lululemon and others, to empower, celebrate, and expand the yoga community. 

Mariel inspires students to directly access and celebrate the intelligence of embodiment through breath, intelligent alignment, and biomechanics. As a life-long student, she shares the great wisdom and generosity of her many different teachers in all of her classes.

She lives in Philadelphia, with her husband and two children, where she also co-owns Shot Tower Coffee.
