Amy Shinabarger is a Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT) with Yoga Alliance, which acknowledges the completion of a yoga teacher training with a Registered Yoga School (RYS).
Amy has been practicing Yoga since 2013. This was the start of her Healthier Journey. This was the year she found self love and dropped over 100 pounds. The following year part of her maintaining goal was to get strong... And yes she meant physically but she also meant mentally.
Leaving home and entering a gym or studio to work out was huge for her...very intimidating but with new self love and the mind over matter mantra, She did it! Finding Yoga and so much more.
With a new found interest/passion in Yoga, Amy was certified for Yoga through YogaFit in 2017/18. Later she completed RYT200 and RYT250 and received certification in Aerial Yoga, Barre, Children's Yoga (2-17yrs), SUP Yoga and CEC in Restorative Yoga. Amy is also a Certified Sound Practitioner. Amy has completed two sound healing training one online and one in person and has also attended additional in person Sound healing worshops for CEC.
Amy says, as She continues to live each day, she continues to grow with her health journey, working on personal and physical growth with practice and workshops. Amy has completed two on line Reiki courses and Reiki level 1&2 in person certifications.
Amy leads Beginner Barre Classes, Aerial Yoga using the Yoga Swing, SUP/stand up paddleboard Yoga and Vinyasa, Slow Flow and Chair Yoga. You will work the body and the breath, followed with sweet Shavasana.
