Michael Saint, a certified Advanced Master Gardener, Former owner of The Native Plant Institute in Clarkson and Bad Axe, MI. As a former executive board member of the Michigan Wildflower Association, a member of The National Wildlife Federation and the Re-mineralize the Earth Foundation, he has encouraged green practices for many years. He has been a repeated guest of National Public Radio's "Detroit Today," Meadowbrook Hall, Henry Ford Estates, The Community House of Birmingham, MI and Fox Morning news. He taught various garden classes for Waterford’s Adult Community Education and has lectured throughout the Midwest on various horticultural topics. Michael's gardens have been featured in varied newspapers throughout Michigan. His garden photography has been featured in many national magazines. Michael graduated May of 2016, as a Buddhist Lay Minister with the Bright Dawn Center of Oneness Buddhism. He is a published author of the native plant book, Garden in the Buddhist Way. Michael is now a certified yoga instructor who is a member of the Yoga Alliance.
