Angelica is a Philadelphia native. She earned her M.A. in Arts Administration from Goucher College in August 2012, and since 2009 holds a B.A. from Goucher, summa cum laude, in dance and psychology with concentrations in both arts administration and dance for mental health. She obtained her M.S. in Psychology, Addictions through Purdue University (2022). She is a certified Original Hot Yoga (2016) and Intermediate Hatha (2017) instructor (500 hour/ 100 hour) through Yoga Factory Teacher Training and an E-RYT through Yoga Alliance through Yoga Factory Teacher Training (Vinyasa, 200 hour, 2019) and Michael Gannon (GAVY-200, Ashtanga, 2022, and GAVY-100 2nd Series Ashtanga, 2023).
Angelica danced professionally in Baltimore for Full Circle Dance Company for 7 seasons. She managed the company and host school, Morton Street Dance Center from August 2009-2020. She was a Manager for Bikram Yoga Baltimore for 5 years, coordinating client retention efforts, events, and staff management for the business' 3 locations. She has also served on the board for the Maryland Council for Dance, and is the former program coordinator for Dance/USA's Institute for Leadership Training, and serves on the USA Yoga Programming Committee. Angelica also taught Arts Management at Goucher College in the undergraduate degree program.
Angelica is the proud author of Performance: The Collective and Introspective, published by WriteLife, LLC in March 2011 and currently through Amazon. Angelica received the Emerging Voices in Psychology and the Arts award through True Center Publishing, LLC ollowing completion of her undergraduate degree. She has also self-published The Diary of a Good Luck Charm, an autobiographical work in 2013. She was named Baltimore's 2013 Best Local Author by Baltimore CityPaper. She was also published in a collaborative work Within: Life Changing Essays on Living the Life you Want in 2023, which is a best-seller on Amazon.
Angelica is the co-owner of Yoga Factory (2 locations), the co-owner of Ascension Yoga Retreats and Trainings and coordinates education programming and trainings through these organizations. She is owner of Radiant Elle (TM) a yoga clothing line. Angelica is also the founder of Yoga Recovery Pittsburgh, a nonprofit organization dedicated to holistic healing for the addiction community. She is a pre-licensed LPC in Pennsylvania and a Usui Reiki Master Teacher and provides several forms of holistic therapy.
