I offer gentle movement, breath awareness, and somatic cues to highlight the mind/body connection and encourage students to relate to thoughts and sensations with compassionate awareness. My classes often take the form of a slow, embodied flow with cues that consider the diverse experiences and nervous systems of my students. In addition to my 200-hour RYT at Joy of Yoga in St. Louis (where I teach), I completed at 40-hour training in Trauma Center Trauma Sensitive Yoga (TCTSY).
