We already have inner peace and happiness  (सत् SAT-truth चित् CHIT- consciousness आनन्द ANAND - bliss) within us, we do not need any thing or any one to give us peace or happiness, we simply need to discover it within us and end our suffering.

Yogini/ management consultant practicing yoga for more than thirty years since childhood. Yogipreneur aspiring to empower everyone to end suffering and awaken to inner peace and happiness. Successfully used yoga, meditation and nutrition as part of a holistic lifestyle to prevent/reverse insomnia, allergies, pain, stress, fatigue, cardiac issues, diabetes, high blood pressure, etc

In addition to learning all aspects of yoga required for yoga teacher training per Yoga Alliance guidelines, we also learned the philosophy, psychology and techniques of Ashtanga/ Hatha/ Raja/ Bhakthi/ Karma/ Jnana Yoga such as Asanas ( 4 essential,8, 16, 32 and 84 principle asana out of the 8.4Million ), Pranayama, Hatha Yoga Mudra Vs Tantra Mudra, Bandha, Shat karma, Pratyahara, Dharana, Dhyana, Samadhi, yogic diet -Mitahara  & Ayurveda from the following scriptures:

  • Patanjali's Yoga Sutra with Ved Vyasa's Bhasya; 
  • Bhagvad Gita, Dattreya's Avadhoota Gita, Astavakra Gita; 
  • Gheranda Samhita; 
  • Hatta Yoga Pradipika; 
  • Buddha's Dhammapada; 
  • Shankarcharya's Tattva Bodha, Nirvana Shatakam, Ekasloki & Viveka Chudmani;  
  • Yoga Vashishta; 
  • Gorakshnath's Gorakh Vani & Goraksh rahasayam, etc; 
  • Shiva Samhita; 
  • Natha and Siddha traditions; 
  • Vedas, Upanishads, Sutra, Purana, and other ancient texts of Indus Valley(Saraswathi) Civilization, 
  • yoga commentaries by Swami Vivekananda & Ramakrishna Parama Hamsa, Sri Aurobindo, Kabir Das, G Krishnamoorthy, etc.

We learned hundreds of meditation techniques such as:

  • Self Realization Meditation
  • Mantra Meditation (using Shanti Mantra from Upanishads), 
  • Chakra/Kundalini Meditation ( Kundalyo Upanishad), 
  • Mindfulness ( Buddha's Dhammapada),
  • Yoga Nidra
  • Trataka  meditation  with internal, external and non-physical Lakshyas, 
  • Dhyanams: Sthula, Jyothir, tejo and Sukshma , 
  • Samadhi meditation techniques for the dhyana, nada, rasananda, laya/advaithe,  bhakthi and raja yoga samadhi 
  • Relaxation techniques: Autogenic, Biofeedback-Assisted, Deep Breathing, Guided Imagery, Progressive Relaxation, Auto Suggestions or Affirmations, Self-hypnosis, Visualization, 4  & 6 Step relaxation practice
