Devi's journey began in the enchanting landscapes of Myanmar, where she immersed herself in the rich traditions of wellbeing within a meditative society steeped in profound Eastern culture. With an unwavering passion for movement, she has always embraced fitness in various forms—whether through gymnastics, dance, or athletic sports. Her early years were vibrant with activities like aerobics, Tai Chi, and gymnastics, laying a strong foundation for her holistic approach to health.
In 2009, Devi took a significant step forward by becoming a certified Yoga instructor and since then, she has passionately dedicated herself to teaching without interruption, furthering her studies in India under esteemed gurus. This transformative experience deepened her expertise in a multitude of meditation practices, classical yoga, and diverse health and fitness disciplines.
Her quest for knowledge led her westward to the United States, where she explored innovative health and wellness programs. While on the path to becoming a wellness expert, she discovered the profound impact of holistic and alternative medicine, which inspired her to delve into Ayurveda.
Devi's impressive credentials reflect her comprehensive training in contemporary health, personal training, kinesiology, nutrition, exercise therapy, and various yoga lineages. She is a certified E-RYT 500 yoga and meditation instructor, as well as a certified Ayurvedic Medicine educator. Additionally, she holds certifications in personal training (NCCPT, WITS), Art Flying Aerial Yoga, Yin Yoga Therapy, pre-natal/post-natal yoga, Art Therapy practitioner, kids Yoga (Fit Club), and serves as a Lead Teacher Trainer for Prem Yoga (YACEP).
Blending Eastern and Western philosophies, Devi adopts a compassionate approach tailored to the unique needs of each individual. Her teaching transcends traditional workouts, integrating lifestyle and spirituality through mind/body principles. Students rave about her hands-on stretching techniques and personalized sessions, which not only enhance flexibility but also aid in injury rehabilitation, empowering them to break through limitations and reach their highest potential.
