Shasta is a registered through Yoga Alliance as an RTY-200. She completed her initial training with Gina Newlin and Zainab Zakari through Mighty Yoga in 2018. When she first started practicing yoga, she did not realize it would become such an integral part of her journey. Yoga is a huge piece of her self-care routine as it helps her to step out of her day and back into her life.
Shasta's private and group Vinyāsa Flow classes are designed to be authentic and grounding while encouraging creative exploration. She is committed to providing classes that are both accessible and inclusive. Shasta incorporates mindfulness and humor to encourage active learning and community building. She currently teaches in the greater Buffalo/Niagara and Fingerlakes regions.
