Edit: I've recently moved to the far North of Canada, at a remote fishing camp in the heart of Denendeh, the Land of the Dene people (in the area sometimes referred to as Northwest Territories, Canada). Being quite far from settlements and other humans, I am in the process of shifting a few offerings to an online format, and offerings suited to participants in remote locations or with other barriers to participation in studio classes.
I first discovered yoga as a compliment to the physically demanding nature of work in the agricultural sector... yoga proved both restorative & fortifying for my body, mind & spirit! I completed my 200 hour training in 2018, at the Yandara Yoga Institute - focusing on Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin & Restorative practices. You'll find me teaching early morning "Rise & Shine" vinyasa classes, Slow Flow vinyasa, and a variety of other styles at Yogalife & Lahara Yoga in Wolfville. With over 10 years of personal practice, I am looking forward to sharing my love of yoga! Off the mat, you’ll find me working as a vineyard manager & fibre artist in the Annapolis Valley. I also completed my RYT500 with Yandara Yoga, including advanced study in asana, meditation, sequencing, philosophy, yoga nidra, & sound healing.
