Yoga found me in 2012 during my first year of college as an college athlete. It has continued to be a part of my life in some way or another for the last 12 years. I first felt the urge to teach in 2015 when my practice became more serious.
My first visit to Colorado in 2016 solidified the place of yoga in my life and in my heart. After moving there in 2018, I found a community that eventually gave me my life partner, Bill. When we moved to Washington in 2019, and a global pandemic happened shortly after, teaching yoga took a back seat to my education and continued personal practice.
As a lifelong learner, my approach to yoga is from the student seat first. While I have moved away from teaching in a formal capacity, I still hold myself to a standard of learning and developing from the seat of the teacher and student.
