Kay Lera is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance, which acknowledges the completion of a yoga teacher training with a Registered Yoga School (RYS).
Profile
I hold over 2000 hours of yoga teaching experience (2021) and teach 3-4 hours a week in a heated yoga studio. I am a dedicated and reflective yoga practitioner seeking the opportunity to grow and explore mindfulness by teaching and practicing in a curious, friendly yoga community. I taught in the public schools from 1990-2018. Serving in the field of traditional education, I taught in various learning environments and guided learners of all ages (elementary school, university courses and professional development for peers). Besides yoga, one additional passion has been helping others seek and experience joy, as they develop mindfulness practices. I am an advanced trainer of the Nurtured Heart Approach©, which is an approach to life that helps one seek beauty, set boundaries and be open enough to explore her/his personal wealth that lies within.
