Kathy Richardson has been teaching Yoga Classes since 2016 and practicing for over 20 years. Kathy was determined to remain active after neck and knee surgeries in 2010. With her yoga instructor's encouragement to focus on her practice as an avenue to recovery, Kathy continued and realized the amazing mental and physical benefits of a regular yoga practice. After an early retirement from the U.S. Department of Energy, Kathy wanted to deepen her practice, which evolved into teaching. Kathy graduated from yoga teacher training in 2016 and began teaching at her East Tennessee gym. Upon returning to Florida for the winter, Kathy continued to teach yoga classes at the Outdoor Resort in Port St. Lucie, Florida and completed her 200-hour teacher training at Sutra Yoga and Barre Studio. She is now a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200). Kathy has a very compassionate teaching style and adapts to her student's abilities in order for students to fully experience a gratifying yoga practice. Her goal for each student is to leave her classes feeling better than when they arrived. Kathy is looking forward to continuing to teach in East Tennessee,
