By focusing on teaching how to practice yoga consistently, safely and with devotion, I help people to achieve physical well-being, emotional balance and personal transformation.
I can teach anyone how to move body and breath with precision to comfortably embody yoga poses, avoid injury and meditate with ease. I can work one-on-one and/or with small and large groups of diverse shapes, ages and experience levels.
Bringing yoga to your gym, condo fitness room, small or large business, nonprofit organization or public/private institution, one one-off event is no problem because I love customizing sessions for private clients and small and large groups. I offer exceptional instruction in: Beginner Ashtanga (Primary Series), Vinyasa Flow, Yin Yoga, Refresh at Your Desk Yoga, Chair Yoga, Curvy Yoga, and Meditation.
My 500-hour Yoga Alliance certification is in Ashtanga Yoga from Multi-Dimensional Yoga School NYC; I also am a Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider (YACEP). I have studied Ashtanga Primary and Intermediate Series with David Swenson and David Williams. I am certified in Yin Yoga by Corina Benner. I have studied Chakra Yoga with Anodea Judith, and Yoga of Awakening with Seane Corn. I learned yogic breathing methods and meditation styles through yoga and as a practicing Buddhist.
In addition, I'm the creatrix of Chilltown Yoga, a moveable and online yoga studio founded in 2016 at the Barrow Mansion, a historic landmark in downtown Jersey City. At present, all my Ashtanga, Yin, blended yoga and meditation classes are livestreamed via Zoom.
