Marlies Tobias
A Journey into Yoga & Mindfulness
Marlies Tobias discovered yoga in 2002 during her first pregnancy, seeking a way to step out of her head and connect with her body. This marked the beginning of a lifelong journey of self-exploration and holistic well-being. In 2008, she expanded her practice into meditation, recognizing the deep need for stillness and presence while raising three young children. Meditation became her personal sanctuary—a moment of quiet amidst daily life to simply "be."
Extensive Training & Education
From 2012 to 2018, Marlies deepened her yoga studies in California, USA, completing her 200-hour YTT with Stephanie Pafford Yoga and an advanced 300-hour Voyager training at Wanderlust Hollywood. She had the privilege to train in person with esteemed teachers such as Scott Schwenk, Schuyler Grant, Matt Phippen, Jennifer Elliot, Clio Manuelian, Annie Carpenter, Joan Hyman, Carry Owerko, Noah Maze, Tias Little, and Tara Judelle.
Beyond yoga, Marlies broadened her expertise with diverse certifications and trainings, including:
