Caryn has been teaching various fitness classes and coaching athletes for over 15 years and and truly enjoys working with people to help them find their best selves. She brings her love of kirtan, asana and dance into her daily practice and classes.
Her teaching experience includes: yoga, spinning, core, boot camp, running, cycling, elder fitness, weight lifting, inline skating, and ski fitness. Caryn has also coached cyclists, runners and triathletes to help them achieve their personal goals; her athletes have competed in the world cycling championships, various running and cycling races, and IronMan triathlons. She brings her experience in these disciplines as well as her experience in athletic training and physical therapy to her classes in the hopes of providing a meaningful, joyful, and powerful experience for each of her students.
Caryn has a B.A. degree in Ergonomics from U.C. Santa Barbara and an M.A. degree in Exercise Science from C.S.U. Long Beach. She is also an Ayurveda Health Counselor and sees private clients, provides group training and retreats as part of this practice.
