Daphne connected to movement while studying dance in college and dabbled with yoga via books when there were few live classes available.  In 2011 she found a local studio and attended classes consistently to manage the work-life balance. Spending more time on the mat led her to PeaceLab Yoga Shala where she completed a 200 hour training guided by Melanie McQuown, E-RYT500.  Since  2015, has been guiding yoga with a focus on self awareness and alignment in and around Holland, MI. 

Mindful that there is a rich ocean of knowledge within all the limbs of yoga Daphne continues to study intently.  She has accumulated over 350 additional hours including certification in the Essential Low Back Program, studies in Restorative Yoga and completion of Yoga for Seniors @ Duke Integrative Medicine.  

Having recently completed the YT Foundations program at EYT in Washington state, Daphne completed the clinical program of YTApplications at EYT under the guidance of Yoga Therapist and author, Robin Rothenberg, E-RYT, C-IAYT.  EYT is an accredited program of the International Association of Yoga Therapists that has evolved from the lineages of Iyengar Yoga and ViniYoga.   

Daphne enjoys sharing yoga with those new or returning to yoga with a focus toward those 50+.
