I am a full time Kinesiology & Exercise Science Teacher at Hanford High School in Richland, WA. Previously I was the Athletic Director at Auburn High School for 8 years and teacher/coach for 20 years prior! I have a love for sport and fitness that started as the daughter of a football coach, continued as an athlete, instructor, and trainer through college, and has evolved into finding new challenges both inside and outside of the studio as an adult. I owned a Pilates Studio turned CrossFit gym for 9 years, and worked as a personal trainer through the Body Camp Challenge program, which I created using my extensive knowledge of nutrition and exercise physiology to work with clients of all ability levels. Most recently, I sold the gym and have become a fitness professional working for Fit Bodies, Inc., teaching Yoga, Spin, and Pilates at International resort facilities across 8 different countries in the Caribbean and beyond.
I have taught every class format starting in the 90s where I began my instructor career for Eastern Washington University, and have continued my education and experience through each new phase of the fitness industry. After disabling injuries from years of abuse to my body, I have now found Yoga as a rehabilitation to my body and my mind.
