Debra personally embraced yoga in 2004 as a student with prior gymnastic and ballet training. Having taught Bodyflow, a Les Mills program that blends Tai Chi, Yoga and Pilates, since 2009, she then decided to deepen her own yoga understanding and knowledge by obtaining her 200 hour certification.
"I studied with Suzanne Leitner-Wise in the tradition of B.K.S. Iyengar. I chose this type of yoga because it focuses on proper alignment, breath and holding of poses. Suzanne shared her skill, and great detail to hand and feet placement for a strong foundation to build upon. I enjoy sharing this knowledge with everyone I teach."

I also enjoy studying videos by Kathryn Budig and various Yoga Journal working tapes by Jason Crandell, Elise Lorimer, Stephanie Snyder and Natasha Rizopoulos.
