Jen Daugherty is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance, which acknowledges the completion of a yoga teacher training with a Registered Yoga School (RYS).
Owner of Trybe Yoga, Jen Andrew is a dedicated teacher, mentor, and friend. Born in Alabama, Jen moved to Texas at the age of 12. At that age, Jen worked her first job at a local paper company, where she rolled newspapers. Thus, exemplifying an (early-on) eagerness to learn and work. Over the years, Jen has worked in different capacities, from sales and marketing, to retail, care-taking, and personal training. Jen also has a BFA in Sculpture and Watercolor from Texas State University in San Marcos.
For Jen, the fitness and health industry is among her most essential passions and has been her professional industry over 12 years. Her devotion to the practice and teaching of yoga is demonstrated in her classes, where she weaves her engaging stories into a challenging and supportive experience. You will leave her classes feeling revitalized, connected, and inspired. Recently, Jen completed a 108 hr training: The Art of Holding Space - under two of her beloved mentors and teachers, Jenn Wooten and Angie Knight. Jen is also Radiant Child Yoga Certified in levels I, II, and III.
When Jen is not practicing or teaching yoga, you will find her at the gym training for her next powerlifting competition (she holds a state record for her deadlift), hiking the trails around town finding inspiration in nature, or painting / creating. You can also find Jen in her kitchen, where she creates fun and delicious dishes that sometimes end up on her food blog or are entered into cooking competitions.
Jen has now set out to fulfill her dream of creating a welcoming, sacred space to come as you are and she cannot wait to see you at Trybe Yoga!
