Vimala Nora Pozzi, E-RYT500, PRYT, YCaT, is an Integral Yoga® teacher and trainer, and graduate from PRYT for private and group facilitation sessions. Vimala has directed the Integral Yoga®Center of Richmond since 1992 and is a Jnani Chapman's YCaTT (Yoga for people with Cancer and chronic Illness) graduate since 2001, serving as faculty for many of her programs. She specializes in supporting people with cancer in many settings. She serves as Faculty at Yogaville for the Raja Yoga and Hatha Yoga TT. Vimala has attended many conferences offered by the IAYT, and has attended the Jon Kabat-Zinn’s MBSR program for health care practitioners. She has also trained in Yoga for the Heart with Nischala Devi, based on the Dean Ornish Program and contributed towards the creation of the Yoga for Arthritis program in Richmond, Va for the Arthritis Foundation.
Having started in 1999 a 200hrs non-residential Teacher Training Program in Richmond, as an affiliate of Yogaville Training Programs, she has graduated more than 100 teachers. She offers this 6-month long program in Richmond every year with the support of a staff of mentors, who are graduates of her program.
