Samantha Akers, CMT, E-RYT 500, has been practicing yoga and teaching since 2000. She specializes in trauma informed yoga and teaches and alignment and flow style that blends workshop style asana break downs, incorporating this into slow flow. Specializing also in teaching from the myofascial trains, Restorative Yoga and Yin Yoga. Samantha leads trainings in Southern and Northern California on Restorative, Yin, Fascial in Asana Alignment and Ball Rolling for Fascial fitness. You can currently find her teaching 8 classes a week, through Om Shala Yoga, weekly workshops in Humboldt, Mindful Yoga for Back Care and Fascial Fitness. She sees over 18 private clients a week and blends her MFRT and Yoga for a hollistic approach to practice.
