Yogi Manoj is the founder of Purnam Yogashala and Yoga Teacher Trainer. Yogi Manoj’s dynamic teaching style aims to bring freedom, peace and joy to his students on and beyond the mat. Yogi Manoj grew up in Himanchal Pradesh State in the Himalaya mountains. He began practicing yoga at 18 years old in high school and went on to study Sanskrit and Yoga at Gurukula Kangari Sanskrit University, Haridwar, Uttrakand, as well as private study with his Himalayan Guru outside of university. He went on to get a Master’s degree in Yogic Science from Sanskrit University, famous for its Yogic Programs, many Saints, Yogis, Master Teachers and Scholars have matriculated through the halls of Sanskrit University. It is the ideal university to absorb and study the consciousness-raising Vedic traditions. Post graduation, Manoj moved to Rishikesh to study advanced panic purification with his Guru Yogi Vishvpal Jayant. He then went on to teach Holistic Hatha Yoga at many different yoga schools around Rishikesh, eventually leading daily drop in classes, workshops, and Yoga Alliance certified 200, 300 and 500 hour Yoga Teacher Trainings. Yogi Manoj has just recently opened Purnam Yogashala, in Agonda Beach, South Goa and he and his colleagues are leading daily drop in classes and monthly 200 hour Yoga Teacher Trainings. He is also highly sought after by his international yoga community to travel abroad and teach classes, workshops, retreats and teacher trainings.
Yogi Manoj’s classes are a fine synthesis of Hatha Yoga, mantra chanting, dynamic breathing techniques, Prana Kriya, Kundalini Yoga, weaving his great sense of humor, play, and positive attitude throughout the practice. Manoj is specialized in teaching Kundalini, Prana Kriya, Hatha, Raj Yoga, Satsang, Kirtan, Sanskrit, Meditation, Yoga Nidra, Yogic Philosophy, Metaphysical Anatomy, Ayurveda and Yogic Lifestyle. It is Manoj’s purpose that students leave his classes and trainings feeling charged with joy, compassion and love. His classes are physically challenging yet energetically balanced, allowing students to explore their limits and develop physically while working on one’s attention, awareness of breath, and harmonizing energy. Manoj is dedicated to creating a happy attitude in his students’ daily life. Yogi Manoj’s goal is not to only to develop an even deeper awareness of his own spirituality, but to share and inspire others to grow in their own yoga, meditation, and spiritual lives.
