About the Presenters

Dr. Christa Kuberry (E-RYT 500), Vice President of Standards, leads Yoga Alliance’s ongoing efforts to evaluate and evolve yoga teacher training standards. Christa has been practicing asana for more than 15 years and received her Ph.D. in 2015. She currently serves on the steering committee for the Yoga Theory and Practice Group at the American Academy of Religion. She has most recently taught courses on Yoga, Comparative Religions, Ethics, and Wellness at the University of Denver and the University of Colorado.

Dani Reese (E-RYT 500) leads Yoga Alliance’s Membership department, including credentialing, member support, and accountability teams. As a yoga teacher and international retreat leader, Dani is dedicated to sharing the wisdom of yoga with others and supporting the yoga profession. Danielle's current commitments include supporting the membership through an inclusive lens, elevating the credentialing process, and increasing accountability.
