About This Event

Here, presenters discuss their experiences creating sacred spaces and having a presence online. Attendees will walk away with insightful tips and practical advice on moving their yoga teaching professions to virtual spaces.


About the Presenters

Angela (Dharma) Fears, E-RYT 500, is a Yoga Educator, and Ayurvedic Wellness Practitioner. Her yoga classes and workshops share from the Healing traditions from around the world. Angela (Dharma) currently leads the Summer 2020 YTT at Southwest Institute of Healing Arts, and provides YTT CEU with Loom Yoga and Angel Star Health. Angela has led Tai Chi, Meditation, and wellness programs at clinics and care centers in the Phoenix, and East Valley of Arizona since 2015. Angela (Dharma) provides private coaching for Yoga and how to integrate Wellness for beginners. Her personal practice of Bhakti Yoga has led to Bhakti Yin Classes, Workshops and performances within the AZ Kirtan Community.

Monique Schubert, MFA, sees life as an extended project to make the world a more beautiful and kinder place. She uses the tools of art, yoga, and music to educate, inspire, and connect. A Kripalu certified yoga teacher, she works with Kripalu as a RISE facilitator and teacher trainer. For almost 20 years, Monique has taught yoga and mindfulness in the New York City area. She weaves her background in visual arts into her mindfulness teaching and has brought yoga to diverse cultural spaces including Socrates Sculpture Park, Studio Museum in Harlem, Museum of Contemporary African Diasporic Art, Rush Arts Philanthropic, and the Fashion Institute of Technology. Through collaborations with non-profits, museums and schools Monique creates engaging public programs for young people and adults.
