This workshop and satsang (spiritual or sacred gathering) explores how to create more equitable birthing experiences for diverse families having children. Learn about inclusive language to incorporate into your teachings and experience a 45-minute prenatal flow modeling best practices.


About the Presenters

Amanda Gloria Valdes (E-RYT 200, RYT 500, YACEP) is a yoga teacher, meditation guide, prenatal/postnatal doula, and teaching artist. She is passionate about creating equitable community spaces using yoga and the arts for BIPOC and LGBTQ folx. Amanda has been teaching yoga since 2012. Most recently, she has been devising yoga teacher training curriculums for 200-hour and advanced teacher trainings. In December 2020, Amanda will be piloting a 25-hour CE Prenatal Teacher training.
